Bosnia

Our arrival in Bosnia took us to the city of Mostar, after a scenic bus ride from Dubrovnik, Croatia. The journey was nothing short of breathtaking, with vast mountains and grand lakes unfolding before our eyes, setting the stage for the experiences to come.

Once in Mostar, we were struck by the contrast between the remnants of its dark past and the beauty of its Ottoman-style architecture. The old town, with its iconic UNESCO-listed Stari Most (Old Bridge), stood as a symbol of resilience and history. The food was both delicious and affordable, adding to the city's charm.

But what truly touched us was the warmth and positivity of the locals. Despite the hardships of the past, they were full of gratitude and optimism. The kindness they extended to us left a lasting impression, and we walked away with valuable life lessons from their enduring spirit.
