Our journey to Germany began with a 7-hour bus ride from Bydgoszcz, Poland, to the vibrant city of Berlin. For Tammy, this trip felt like a return to her roots, having spent part of her childhood in Brüggen near the Dutch border, where her dad was stationed with the RAF. For Bobby, it was a nostalgic return to the country where his love for travel first blossomed.

As a child, Bobby visited Aachen and Cologne on a school trip and instantly fell in love with Germany’s food, language, culture, and people. This journey rekindled those early memories, as we explored Berlin’s historic streets, indulged in hearty German cuisine, and experienced the rich heritage that has shaped this incredible country.
