When TeamMcGrath first started the choice where we would begin our first ever vlog was a tough one, there were so many places we wanted to visit yet we couldn't decide which one was right for us.

After some deliberation we chose Poland! You see, it was Tammy's dream to visit Auschwitz (Oświęcim) and see a place she knew so much about learning at school with her very own eyes, with Kraków being pretty close by it stood to reason that we should start there as it was a major airport, cheap to get to (and stay in) and would allow us to make the trip to Oświęcim so Tammy could learn more about the past and pay her respects too.

And so we set off to Kraków with an old, worn out phone with a terrible camera and a selfie stick and started filming the moment we arrived, that was in 2023 and we have kept that camera rolling on our journeys home and abroad since!

We decided to return back in 2024, having not been satisfied with the content we filmed we wanted to capture Poland in its best light as it was such an amazing country and deserved a better visual representation than what we had initially provided on that old worn out phone and our lack of vlogging experience.

We are so glad we went back as we were given a warm welcome by the YouTube community from Poland (many who had been with us since we first started the channel when we didn't have a clue what we were doing!), as a result we have fallen in love with both the country and its people, alongside Oman it was the first country to really embrace us and give us warm and positive feedback as a collective on a pretty decent scale and for that we will always be grateful and will be making our way back to Poland many more times in the future too! ❤️🇵🇱
